number 1 reason i would rather attend an art school than a regular 4 year university: no one questions or gives me rude looks when i tell them i want to study art history. all my life i have had to deal with just straight up rude comments, expressions and attitudes about my choice of study. um, pardon me, but whose life and education is it? that’s right, mine. so if you wouldn’t mind shoving your head a little further up your ass, i’ll continue to go about my business. kthanks.
this is what i want.
i want to have the house all to myself for a week. i will slip silently from room to room, enjoying the natural sounds of the house. i want to stay curled up in bed surrounded by my awkwardly sized coffee table books and french poetry. i will spend the day trying new recipes and sipping on hot cocoa, watching the trees interact with the wind. and at night, i will sip on rum whilst soaking in a hot bath.
but i don’t get vacation days until 6 months has passed. so depressed now.
